A Proud History Serving Southwest Michigan

If you are looking for some adventure in your life, consider joining the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Wherever your interest lie, and whatever life skills you have, chances are that the Coast Guard Auxiliary can offer you an area to serve that will enrich your life in ways you may not imagined. The Coast Guard's philosophy is to be SEMPER PARATUS (Always Ready) against all threats and all hazards. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is an integral part of that philosophy and the Coast Guard Forces.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla in South Haven came into existence in June of 1974. We conduct safety patrols on Lake Michigan, teach boating safety classes, perform vessel safety checks for the boating community, and support marine environmental protection programs. Membership in the Auxiliary is open to person 17 years of age and older. There is no minimum service hours - you can serve as little or as much as you want.
